Heard about poppies through a friend, and stopped in for the all-day happy hour on Sunday. We rode our bikes across town 9 miles, it wasn't bad at all. The happy hour specials are great, great beer specials micheladas specials spicy Coronas with the shrimp. We tried the wings and the Pollo tacos. But we will be back to try the state quesadilla and others! We sat at the bar and still got great service even though they were very busy! Thanks again!

Authentic to the max. Delicious food all the way. The simple tortilla and heartwarming salsa is to die for. The staff takes pride in their job and are so inviting and eager to recommend options. Restrooms are immaculate.... Tremendous plus for me. Beautiful artwork through out the establishment. The crowed that frequents also contribute to the great experience. I

We had an amazing time! And our server Johana was so awesome!! Give her a raise our party had ceviche, shrimp cocktails, fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, draft beers, and a house margarita. and it was all delicious!!

Papi’s Mex Grill in Fresno, CA, is an absolute gem! My wife and I had an incredible dining experience from start to finish. We kicked things off with their chips and salsa, which were fresh and flavorful—perfectly setting the tone for the meal. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. I ordered the Enchilada Suiza de Camaron (shrimp), served with rice and beans, and it was a total delight—rich, savory, and cooked to perfection. My wife went for the Southwest Shrimp Salad, which was equally delicious, with a great balance of flavors and fresh ingredients. We also got to try their spicy dark red salsa—you have to ask for it, but trust me, it’s worth it! It added a fantastic kick to the meal. The interior is spotless and beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bar caught my eye too—it looks like the perfect spot to unwind with a drink. Papi’s Mex Grill is a must-visit if you’re in Fresno. We’ll definitely be back! Enjoy! -M

Food is good I feel the quality has gone down but still ok, flour tortillas are homemade and beans are delicious. The tequila selection and fresh craft cocktails is what keeps me going back. Lots of additive free tequilas.

Ate there, food was good but I had to watch the wolves lose to the Mavs. One of the best places for a chile relleno hands down

Had some street tacos and drinks here. I like their vibe. They have a great variety of alcohol. Their mixed drinks are prime level. The chips and salsa are delicious. Service is fantastic. They offer heaters in outdoor area. I do recommend getting a reservation, Can get busy at times.

I had the queso birria tacos as well as a watermelon margarita and the spicy cucumber margarita both of which were great. I went with tajin on the rim. Would stop by again! I did give a four star reading because my sister had the Chileno and both she and my mother stated that there was not very much flavor to it, I didn’t taste it. My food was great, but she also did the fried jalapenos and those were a little bit too hard for my taste.
